Beth Goodman is a long time Santa Barbara resident who as a young child, moved to Montecito with her family and attended local schools, including Cold Spring Elementary, Santa Barbara Junior High and Santa Barbara High School. A natural entrepeneur, while still in high school she and a close friend started what became a successful floral business, growing that business, and one other over the years, into well respected staples of quality and creativity in the Santa Barbara floral and event industry. During the sale and transition out of one of her business, (leaving the floral industry to pursue other passions) a client once told her, "You will be successful whereever you go, because you don't just sell flowers, you sell satisfaction." It's been a compliment she strives to live by in all that she does. Originally licensed for real estate in the 80's and with extensive experience in the title and escrow field, she began practicing real estate in earnest in Arizona where she lived for six years with her young quadruplets. Beth returned to Santa Barbara, the town she loves in 2011, to raise her children amongst friends & family. She has been practicing real estate with Berkshire Hathaway (and it's predecessor Prudential) ever since! From a family rich in real estate experience, she is the daughter of long time Montecito agent, now retired, Jean Goodman Zellweger, and Jerry Goodman, the well respected architectural designer who has designed homes for some of Santa Barbara's most prominent residents, with some twenty+ homes in the Birnamwood area alone. Beth has also bought and renovated a few properties herself over the years, and has developed a successful vacation rental business before becoming an agent solely focused and committed to her own client's buying and selling success.
